Winners know how create their own luck by maintaining a positive state of mind and developing a forceful will. This allows you to read energy and put the odds in your favor in order to get more out of life and stop being an ineffectual background character.
I covered this at length in part one: The Art of Winning Regardless.
That’s all well and good, but how do you take it to the next level?
Maximizing Your Intent
When manifesting, you must consider both the purity and intensity of your intent.
You may be able to picture something clearly, but is there force behind it? Likewise, you may know how to cultivate a strong will, but how clear are the ideas you are working to bring about?
Here I will discuss several ways to train both.
Developing a stronger will requires a more intimate degree of Self-awareness. You must be willing and able to “push” your mind in a certain direction.
Practice thinking hard “at” something. Learn to see your thoughts as things, as in objects you create and send instead of just passing phantasms.
Tie your thoughts to visualizations. When you make a choice, see with your mind’s eye a ball of energy with your intent being sent out into the universe.
Use mantras and hermetic confirmations. Say “it is done,” after making a choice or performing an action. My will be done, so mote it be, what I speak is true.
Place your Self in an ongoing state of gratitude. Make it a habit to be consciously thankful for even the smallest things. Gratitude strengthens self-awareness and mental focus, because it involves tying a positive state of being with your current reality, which is ultimately what you are influencing when manifesting.
Assume a positive frame. A strong minded person does not let circumstances or other people drag them down. Practice becoming more aware of your current mood and being an resisting the urge to indulge in negative emotional states. Negativity is the number one blocker to being “lucky” - the two states are incompatible.1
Train your imagination. Go out of your way to envision out of this world things within your mind, such as fantasy settings or unlikely circumstances. One exercise that I find effective is, during meditation, choosing a nearby object and imagining what it would be like to become that object, and have one’s locality or consciousness placed within it. The more obscure the better.
The goal here is control. You want to be in the driver’s seat of your own mind so that probability (threads of potentiality) moves in your favor.
To put it another way, the more you become an active participant in your own life story (through self-awareness and mental control), the more likely it is that life circumstances will move in a way that you like.
Karma Seeds
Small good deeds, with a strategic and wholesome aim, are like karma seeds. Once planted, they can produce beneficial fruits in ways you can’t imagine.
The difference between an ordinary act of good and a karma seed is largely in the intent and the timing. For instance, instead of just helping out a friend with some money with the usual attachments that come with such interactions, present the money or loan as an extension of your partnership with this person. You are participating in their growth and strengthening their position in life, you are lifting them up.
Send positive intent along with your good deeds, think good toward others even if they are not aware. Leave good in your wake - tidy up after others, leave inspiring notes, pray for the well-being of others. They don’t have to know you are doing this - they don’t have to know anything at all. Yet.
The thing about planting karma seeds is that they stack. All will be revealed to others in time. Don’t hold any attachment or expectation, don’t seek to be noticed for your works. If you plant enough seeds, the right people will take notice after a while, without you ever having to do anything.
Once people make the organic connection between you and the good that you do, it creates a powerful energy bond in their mind. Whenever they think of you, it will likely be something positive. If enough people think good toward you on a regular basis, it’s like hitting the karmic lottery. The wins will just keep coming.
Being able to establish strong energy threads or bonds is what really makes someone appear “lucky.” Connections of this sort move the world.
“Master Fiel”
Here I will share a technique that may help teach you how to work with energy.
I was aware of energy threads from a young age. Intuitively I understood that a symbol could be used to represent the object of one’s intent, and that you could use books, art, and even digital technology to affect change in the world.
One crude form of chaos magick I often employed was that of symbolic buckets of intent. Just draw a box on a piece of paper and write whatever you want to focus on inside it. This could be a word or an actual drawing.
The “box” could represent anything - like a button on a control panel, or a treasure chest. Anything to signal to my subconscious that this was important and could create change.
This is a surprisingly effective manifestation technique, especially for someone with a potent force of will.
Eventually this technique went digital.
When I first started playing around with computers I could immediately see their potential as intention-making devices. You can effortlessly jot down thoughts, create emphasis, “send” intent, or banish something with the Delete key.
I used to keep a bunch of folders labeled according to their intent. This is no different in practice than a mood board.
Digital spaces can be used to create powerful symbolic triggers. Knowing this, I buried a notepad document 7 layers deep, and called it Master Fiel.2 This was actually a typo but since the first time I ever used it, it worked, I considered it lucky and never changed it.
The lesson here is do what works, ride the energy. Don’t be afraid to experiment with something that may seem absurd on the surface. If the energy is there, don’t question it.
You’ll be 100x more effective in your intentions when you learn to let go. Mystics deal in symbols for a reason - it’s the language of the subconscious mind, where all change begins.
Win So Others Win
One of the big differences between a winning mindset and a losing mindset is your perspective on how your wins relate to others.
If you notice the way the down-bads speak about themselves, it’s always hyper personal. They take everything personal, to the point where even things happening on a macro scale get taken to heart.
Stop taking everything personal. It’s never about what others can do for you, but what you can do for others (and therefore your Self).3
The nature of energy is reciprocal and cooperative - that is, the energy you send out into the world naturally meshes with the intent of other people. Nothing happens in isolation, which is one reason why those who hang out with losers tend to become losers, and vice versa.
To prosper, think bigger than your Self. Win for the sake of others.
Every time you level up, you lift up everyone around you. Or, at the very least, you have the potential to.
Ironically, when you help others prosper, you dramatically increase your odds of winning big in life. Karma can snowball quick when the goodwill of others is involved. You should actively seek to cultivate the positive intent of other people.
It is for this reason why abundance-minded people have no problem sharing their gains with others. Tipping big, donating to charity, being generous to the homeless and needy. In select cases, family and friends directly benefit as well, although it should be noted that this isn’t a hard rule, because you don’t want to expend goodwill and wealth on those who will take it but then respond with jealousy and ill intent toward you. Toxic family and (fake) friends are, oddly enough, the most likely to fall into this category.
Karma Stacking
The key to karma stacking is combining good and productive thoughts and actions with a strong force of will that buffers everything you do.
One of the reasons why so many people seem stagnant (like literally stagnant, their auras are bland, they aren’t going anywhere in life, good things rarely happen to them, etc.) is because they don’t do enough productive things and they lack a strong force of will.
Think of it this way, if you rarely if ever put forth value into the universe, and if the value you do provide is minimal, the return will be negligible.
As much as this concept may seem foreign in a society that lauds laziness and low-effort lifestyles, we live in a reciprocal universe. You get out what you put in.
It’s a numbers game to a certain degree. Some stack karma by sheer volume of the good that they do. Small acts of value do add up, so long as you are consistent.
When you mix in larger acts of value, with strong intent behind them, and you continue to plant karma seeds whenever possible, you are much more likely to reap abundance in your life. This is top shelf living that can’t be obtained by any other means.
True karma stacking occurs when you are providing so much value that the result of these actions seem to accumulate and snowball in the background, creating unexpected windfalls. You will notice if you are karma stacking correctly when it almost seems as if you cannot lose - in this state, you have generated so much value and have created so many positive energy bonds, that even when you “lose” you win.
Winning regardless requires a certain kind of relentless spirituality, the true embodiment of faith and works combined. 🤍
Negativity is spiritual self-harm. It shares a lot in common with physical self-harm in that you do the most serious damage to your Self, injuring your etheric body, while also harming those around you. This residual harm is not just mental and emotional pain, however. Negativity poisons the space around you, ripping and sucking energy from others and transmuting it into sour experiences. Negative people are like a vacuum in this sense, but for energy.
Later to enhance the effect even further, I created a series of “shortcuts” to folders placed in hard to find locations all over the computer, some even buried in the registry and other Windows system files. All of this was for subconscious effect, and it worked extremely well. The idea is to send a message to your subconscious that you are accessing something hidden, forbidden, magickal. The most successful men and women among use have their own “Master Fiel” techniques, karma hacks that they use to ride energy and seemingly game the system in their favor. It’s in your best interest to find and develop your own.
One of the great spiritual paradoxes: the more you provide for, build for, love, and lift up other people, the more you will experience abundance for your Self. However, if you try and obtain an abundant life in a selfish manner, without benefiting others or with the right mindset, it will remain elusive.
