It is not a stretch to say that we live in a post-aesthetic world. Modernism, in its quest to flatten variety and enforce conformity under the guise of equality, has attempted to do away with certain universal truths.
Chief among them, the concept of beauty as an objective constant rather than just a matter of preference.
Why does this matter and what are the implications of society ignoring these truths? This is what I will delve into below.
Beauty and its Relationship With Power
First, one must wonder, why would anyone bother to malign aesthetics and attempt to shift public perception about beauty? What is there to gain?
Like anything else when it comes to metaphysical constants, you have to have a base level of esoteric knowledge to even begin to piece this puzzle together. Unfortunately, so many of us lack wisdom in this area that the reasoning behind these things tend to escape the average person.
First, it’s important to understand out connection to the world around us and how our perception of it relates to our own power and peace.
We live in a reciprocal universe. The electromagnetic data we receive through the 5 senses manifests or takes shape according to our own perception. We are constantly collapsing waves of potentiality that align with our expectations and thought patterns. We then react to how these thoughts manifest, and the cycle continues.
All of us are in a constant state of co-creation, based off of what we perceive and how we react to this perception.
Our personal power level is largely dictated by our ability to optimize this cycle of manifestation. When we are aligned with the world around us, and are able to control our thought patterns in a way that creates a beneficial manifestation feedback loop, it is then that we become potent in all that we do.
A potent individual is in a state of self-actualization. They understand, if only intuitively, the intimate connection between thought, perception, and reality.
All of these things are different facets of the same energy. Thought shapes perception, perception shapes reality, and reality shapes thought. This is the core of our lived experience in this realm, and is the framework for conscious evolution.
Knowing this, what might happen to the health of this crucial cycle if we were programmed to ignore certain important facets of the world around us? What would happen if we were taught that certain data that we were receiving was wrong, despite the fact that it was built into reality itself?
I’m referring to aesthetics.
That there is an objective aesthetic reality cannot be argued. We exist in a mathematical world, everything when you break it down becomes numbers, strings, angles, shapes, frequencies, and codes. Everything we see, touch, smell, taste, and hear are combinations of different particles working in mathematical harmony with each other to create what we refer to as the physical world.
None of it is “physical” however. It’s all simply a dense manifestation of light that our physical bodies are on the same frequency as, thereby creating a means of interfacing.
There is a very strict aesthetic component built into this world. Certain shapes and colors conform to certain mathematical constants that reflect important themes and energies.
Beauty is more real than many other concepts that we take for granted in this society. Things like manmade laws, or silly religious or political beliefs, we tend to take far more seriously than the science of aesthetics.
Yet aesthetics are above and beyond that of manmade laws. They transcend the physical.
Everything beautiful in this world is so because it is a manifestation of certain energies, numerological constants present on subtler planes of existence.
You can begin to see why maligning the concept of beauty could have a disastrous effect on us collectively. In an effort to appease misguided feelings, modern thought-slop has resulted in a world mired in ugliness.
Confusion Leads to Weakness
There is a remarkable correlation between aesthetic appreciation and self-awareness.
Throughout history, you will often see the great minds of mankind gravitate toward the arts. They appreciate the harmony of nature, and they exalt the physical form, attempting to perfect it through nutrition, exercise, and spiritual practice.
Modern mid-curves would have us believe these were pursuits of vanity or narcissism. In reality, the self-aware understand the relationship between the inner and the outer, how the microcosm reflects the macrocosm. Appreciation for beauty is a divine inclination, one that typically alights only on the minds of those who generate positive energy.
The key issue with downplaying the importance of aesthetics is that it leads to confusion. We see this everywhere in the modern world.
For instance, we are told to take pride in our local communities. Yet modern cities inspire no reverence, no joy. There is very little artistry in the construction of today’s buildings, bridges, or roads. It’s difficult for our minds to appreciate that which is not aesthetically aligned. It runs counter to the natural order.
There’s another related issue here, one that concerns the actual power or energy of a place.
The buildings of the past were not built which such incredible artistry simply because people were more spiritual and had a greater appreciation for spiritual things. This is a common misconception.
As I mentioned above, aesthetics is mathematical. Beauty has its own distinct frequency. People in the past understood the relationship between beauty and power and leveraged it in the construction of buildings and even entire towns.
This works not only because beauty inspires people (thereby creating a positive manifestation feedback loop for those in the vicinity), but because perfectly aesthetic configurations of material are often better at conducting and holding energy.
Churches and other holy sites are a perfect example of this. Everything from the positioning of windows to the shape of the columns plays a role in the energy that a structure will either emit or collect. Certain structures, such as domes, are designed to collect and store energy, while towers, needles, pillars, obelisks, and spires generate and send energy out.
When combined with mathematical precision and other aesthetic elements, a humble place of worship can become a power place of collective spiritual evolution. A sanctuary that gives off a distinct vibration and that may even have a subtle healing or empowering effect for those who step foot inside.
These same principles apply to everything around us. Works of art being a notable example. To say that art is a matter of preference not only defies the laws of nature, it goes against common sense. You don’t need to be a self-awakened master or quantum physicist to see the very stark difference between classic and modern art, or which pieces are more aesthetically pleasing.
To those who enjoy the strange scribbles and disjointed energy of modern art, who claim art is all subjective, are themselves extremely confused. If they had the self-awareness to read energy, they would immediately be turned off by such “art.”
This is the price of a society that dulls our innate spiritual senses. A world that tries to suck the joy and beauty out of things will inevitably produce people that have very little capacity to understand and appreciate joy and beauty.
In the absence of truth, subjectivity sets in. This creates confusion, which inevitably leads to weakness. In this weakened state, a man can be made to believe anything, no matter how absurd.
Self-Awareness and Aesthetic Appreciation
Art can be a tool of awakening, if you understand the connection between aesthetics and power.
The key takeaway here is, don’t let the crushing banality of modernism influence your innate appreciation for what is beautiful and true. There are leagues of extremely confused individuals out there that would have you believe beauty is purely subjective and that the ugly and profane is just as valuable as that which is “classically beautiful.”
Don’t fall for the psyop.
For one, if you don’t fully appreciate true beauty, you won’t know what to focus on in your own life to reinforce with your thoughts. You won’t be able to create a truly beneficial positive feedback loop of manifestation because you will likely give your energy away to the wrong things.
Appreciation for the profane has dire consequences. Understand that there is often dark negative energy associated with objects (and people) that are lacking in aesthetics. Disease, rot, decay… if these things made the world beautiful, cancer patients would look like Greek statues. If you don’t understand this connection, you will go through life with wool over your eyes.
Potent people, those who are self-actualized, have no time for the games of modern idiocy. Go forth and spread beauty and positivity. Embrace classical art. Cultivate your Self, body, mind, and soul. Create beautiful feedback loops that attract more beauty into your life.
